Happiness is waking up perfectly rested but not too late, with a fresh pot of coffee and the possibility that anything could happen. Whether the sun is shining or its raining. To me, happiness is no one person, place or thing but the strength, confidence and joy that comes from any one thing, (tangible or not) that makes you feel good. Happiness is both overrated and not enough.
A few of my favorite things include; city living, fashion, Boston, politics, lattes & black suede pumps, seafood, my rescue kitten Lucy and the beach.
My favorite happiness quote is:
"20s are such an important part of your life as far as figuring out who you are, the type of person you want to be, and what type of people you want to surround yourself with. I think they’ve been really important years to me. I’ve definitely learned a lot, made a lot of mistakes, but so does everyone.” -Lauren Conrad
Vanessa blogs over at A City Girl's Guide to Life where she write about...wait for it...A City Girl's Guide to Life (in Boston). There are tips about places to eat, things to do, and the trends to wear. And I'll see you all tomorrow.
